Focus

everything seems fuzzy
my focus isn't that great
i find it disconcerting
to be in such a state

so slowly i adjust
the view i see
so that i may know
what lays in front of me

i check my lenses
to make sure they are clean
i wipe from them gently
my breath's steam

still more i adjust
to see what i miss
perhaps all i need
is a little more brightness

it's good
but not good enough
maybe more contrast
will make it less rough

now i can see
the view is quite swell
but somewhere along the way
i lost the detail
