The little blue blocks mock me
In their slow march across the screen
I sit here impatiently waiting
For them to fill their channel
But they ignore my pleadings
. . . 34% . . . 51% . . . 69% . . .
Almost two hours have ticked away on the clock
Yet still the blue blocks take their time
I listen to the drives
For sounds of accessing
A sign that things have not stalled
The blue blocks have not moved
They sit there watching me
Slowly going insane from boredom
For they and I know
That if I do something else
Everything will crash
And I will have to sit through this again
